Leisure & Entertainment
Broadgate enjoys two strategic partnerships:
Arena – together with an International Arena/Concert/Sports management
operator, to deliver class-leading Arenas to SSAC.
Phase One program comprises five new Arenas, each delivering 12,000 seating
Cinema – in partnership with Komworld, delivering main stream multiplex
screens and district centre formats.
Retail
Broadgate has an exclusive Development Partnership agreement with an
International retail group to deliver three new-to-market, anchor stores – pan-Africa. This will support Broadgate’s drive to deliver a program of Super-Regional Malls and Community Super Centres.
Design work has already commenced for the delivery of the first phase,
comprising three, International standard Super-Regional Malls. Some of these will be combined with our Arena scheme design which will underwrite these
projects as dynamically changing the retail scene, commanding a greater
customer draw and shopping trip duration.
The first-phase, also including five Community Malls, has a Program TDC of circa $ 700m.
Masterplanning
Masterplanned, Mixed-Use development.
Backed by our extensive experience and expertise in delivering, large-scale,
masterplanned developments, we are pursuing a number of major projects,
Pan Africa.
We anticipate appointment as “preferred Developer” status in respect to the
241 acre, Marine Drive project in Accra, Ghana.
Infrastructure
Together with our International, diversified, Conglomerate partner we are pursuing:
Deep Sea Ports – berthing & dry-dock; berth-side Container facilities and
supporting Logistics.
Aviation facilities including – Terminals; Infrastructure; Logistics/ Cargo
Warehousing, all with FTZ benefits.
Chilled Vertical Agri -Agriculture, distribution/Logistics.
Telecoms
Broadgate, together with our Telecoms strategic partner has developed a
program including:
• Data Centres
• HO Building
• Training Centres
• Residential
• Switch Centres
• Call Centres
• Retail Stores
• Logistics
The first-phase project delivery has a Program TDC of circa $ 350m.
Road & Rail/Power & Energy
Including gas powered generation and “waste to energy” district structures.
Broadgate are now promoting a unique design for a transportable floating
“vessel” delivering an integrated, modular waste to energy platform.
Residential
Together with Private Investors and Infrastructure Funds, we are progressing
housing development incorporating new construction technology.
